About
Natalia Rosenbaum, LMHC
Licensed therapist, author, teacher, and founder of To Self Activate
Natalia Rosenbaum is a licensed mental health counselor, author, and longtime practitioner of meditation, breathwork, and yogic techniques.
Born in Argentina and raised in the United States, Natalia's path into this work began long before To Self Activate existed. Her early exploration of Buddhist practice eventually led her to graduate training in mental health counseling and more than a decade of private clinical work with individuals and couples.
Alongside her work as a therapist, Natalia pursued extensive yoga teacher training in the United States and abroad, with a particular focus on the Kundalini Yoga tradition.
Over time, those two worlds began to converge.
In her private practice, Natalia began integrating short practices using breath, mantra, meditation, and movement alongside traditional therapeutic work. She saw that even a few intentional minutes could help people interrupt entrenched mental and emotional patterns, access more of their own internal resources, and relate differently to what was happening in their lives.
Those experiences became the foundation for her book, Self-Activated Therapy, and eventually for To Self Activate.
What Is To Self Activate?
To Self Activate is the home of Natalia's work with short, powerful practices designed to help people clear mental overload, shift their energy, strengthen resilience, and come back to themselves.
The practices draw from Kundalini Yoga, yogic science, meditation, breathwork, mantra, and movement — while remaining practical enough to use in the middle of real life.
Many can be done in three minutes.
The goal is not to give an already overloaded mind more information.
It is to create a direct experience of your own capacity.
To Self Activate grew out of Natalia's clinical work but extends beyond the therapy room. It is for people who want practical ways to work with their own minds, energy, patterns, and inner resources — including therapists, helping professionals, leaders, coaches, healers, teachers, and individuals navigating demanding lives.
The practices are meant to be experienced, not simply understood.
The Approach
The premise behind the work is simple:
We have internal resources that can be activated deliberately.
A shift does not always require an hour, ideal circumstances, or an elaborate practice. Sometimes three intentional minutes can change the way we meet what comes next.
Natalia's book, Self-Activated Therapy: A Kundalini Yoga Handbook for Therapist Resilience and Thriving Clients, grew directly from this approach and brings together therapeutic insight with practices drawn from the Kundalini Yoga tradition.
The work begins with direct experience.
Practice first.
Feel what changes.
