Born in Argentina and raised in the United States, Natalia is a lifelong seeker of wisdom and wonder. After many early years as a Buddhist practitioner, Natalia’s continued quest for truth led her to pursue a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). From there, she went on to complete extensive yoga teacher trainings, both in the U.S. and abroad, which have deeply influenced how Natalia works with clients.
Currently, Natalia works as a therapist in a private practice that incorporates a holistic and yoga-based approach to serve a diverse group of people from all ages and backgrounds. Through her practice, Natalia has witnessed firsthand how integrating practices such as meditation, breath work, mantra, and self-activation techniques with therapy can break the hypnotic patterns of the subconscious mind more effectively than other methods she has encountered. Since incorporating these approaches into her work with clients, she has been amazed by the profoundly quick results and continues to explore ways to bring these methods into the mental health space on a larger scale.
She recently finished writing a book that serves as a guide for other therapists and healers. The book's mission is to teach healers how to access these practices for themselves and then use that foundation to help their clients. Soon, she will begin the process of pitching her book to editors.
Most recently, Natalia created To Self Activate (@toselfactivate), a resource for people who want to engage in their own self-guided therapy through virtual courses with her. By prioritizing practices such as meditation, yoga, breath work, mantra, and self-activation techniques, we can access what Natalia calls "inner-child integration." By safely accessing the vulnerable parts of ourselves from the past to gain compassion and understanding, we simultaneously activate our most brilliant and conscious selves. Natalia believes that when we are self-activated, the dependency often created in the therapeutic relationship dissolves, allowing for a more integrated and empowered person.
